WHAT MAKES THIS RETREAT DIFFERENT?

For those adventure seekers amongst us, sometimes it’s hard to find something new and stimulating as, well, we’ve been there and done all that, got the t-shirt etc. etc. 

So let us introduce you to our Ultimate Fitness & Resilience Retreat, based in the beautiful countryside of the Algarve in Portugal. This retreat is truly one of a kind. There is no other retreat in Europe that combines the elements of Bootcamp-Style Fitness & Strength Building Sessions and Mental Resilience Training which includes guided Ice Baths as well as Fire Walking, Glass Walking and other physically and mentally challenging exercises. 

This is not like the other retreats out there, it’s not even like our own Wim Hof Retreats. This is a true test of your courage, persistence, mental & physical strength, willpower and tenacity. That being said, this retreat is not for the faint hearted! It’s not just finding out what you are capable of, it’s more about finding out how far you are really willing to push yourself…to find out what your true limits are... but all whilst having fun in the sun! 

When you apply for this retreat, we will arrange a chat to make sure the activities will be suitable for you as many of them require a good level of fitness to take part. 

On this retreat you will learn to push yourself through the barriers that are holding you back in life in all areas including:

Or what about walking on glass?

Unlike fire walking, which requires a quick and bold approach, walking on glass is about slow, mindful steps, encouraging focus, calmness, and a deep awareness of each movement. 

This experience symbolises careful navigation through challenges and shows that even seemingly impossible obstacles can be safely managed with patience and intention

Glass walking can leave you with a renewed sense of inner strength and a greater appreciation for the power of staying present and centred.

ABOUT THE RETREAT VENUE

This retreat is being hosted by our friends Jason and Kay from Conscious Earth Retreats. We will be joining them to instruct the Bootcamp Fitness Sessions as well as the Cold Exposure & Breathwork Guided Classes and Theory Sessions as part of the 5-night retreat. 

Their venue is a 40-hectare estate containing its own private lakes, a river and groves of olive, tangerine, orange and mandarin trees. The estate is hilly and has many lovely walking routes, from short strolls to challenging hikes.

Nestled in the hills north of Silves, in the Faro district of the Algarve region in Southern Portugal, it is located far enough away to be undisturbed by town life and the tourist traps, yet close enough to enjoy the best the Algarve coast has to offer.

Far away from the nearest towns and in the hills there is no ambient light pollution, so it is perfect spot for Dark Sky star gazing. 

The lakes, for swimming and paddling, are pristine in their natural state, being unpolluted by agricultural chemicals. They are abundant with fish and turtles, as well as other wildlife and beautiful water lilies.

All of the estate is available to participants during the retreat and can be explored during free time. Whether choosing to walk the boundaries, kick-back in a hammock or sit within the stone circle… or even just to lay next to one of the freshwater spring-fed lakes, you will find places to truly reconnect with nature and yourself.
